producer. writer. editor.

I am a storyteller and a facilitator of storytelling. Whether that means writing, producing, editing, or project managing, my greatest professional joy comes from conveying ideas. And beyond that: creatively conveying ideas that entertain, educate, or inspire.

ABOUT MY WORK: I’ve had the pleasure of helming productions including music videos, branded content, web series, and more. I’ve worked on projects that feature talent including Stevie Wonder, Daveed Diggs, Janelle Monáe, Michael B. Jordan, Solange, The Roots, D'Angelo, John Mayer, Lupita Nyong'o, Anthony Ramos, Marshawn Lynch, Usher, Rafael Casal, and Jasmine Cephas Jones. My clients have included Ryan Coogler, The Roots, Hannibal Buress, Sundance Film Festival, Live Nation, and New York University.

A client once described me as “the Beyoncé of getting shit done.” While I didn’t immediately run to put those words on business cards, I take it very seriously that people trust me to do what’s necessary to accomplish The Goal -- leading/training a team; pivoting when a concept doesn’t go as planned; managing (and seeking to exceed) client expectations; navigating the nuances of talent/celebrities/influencers; following the lead to best assist a more experienced person. These are all things I’m proud to do well and will continue to hone in my career.

ABOUT THE “WHY”: The first piece of content I produced was a song. The assignment: convey a celebratory message. The client: my parents. The talent: my little brother. I also wrote the song, whose lyrics were: “happy anniversary, happy anniversary, haaaaaappy anniversary.” I was nine. If I still had the cassette tape, I’d proudly share it. The job was incredibly successful, resulting in a premium payment via Red Lobster.

That is also among the moments that stand out for me as a creative/writer/producer: I created a Thing, and that Thing made people happy.
